It's called "formatting" works wonders. That's basically what I did with my laptop. I had to upgrade anyway so I just wiped everything and did a clean install.That's cheating. When you purchase a new system you can reformat and reinstall the OS. That way you have complete control over what is installed.I guess that's what i'll have to do, i'm just not looking forward to finding all the drivers for all of the hardware components (onboard wireless, etc.). I ASSURE you, that's what all knowledgeable users do. As for the drivers, they should be on a disc that comes with the laptop. If not, they would all be in one place on the website of your laptop manufacturer.Crapware is what makes HP all their money. HP laptops have the most crapware, hands down!
