Solve : Unable to start XP after 1hr shutdown? |
|
Answer» I'm unable to restart WinXP after about 1hr shutdown I get an error(mutiple) or I have to USE last known good config. to restart. It will restart just fine if I restart within approx. an hour of the last shutdown. It's like it lost my setting to restart. Please help! What error mesage do you get ? Quote When you do a normal shutdown ....do you see the message ....your settings are being saved ? Remember , the more info you can provide the better the chances of a resolution . dl65 If the error messages are driver related there is a conflict somewhere. My first guess would be the video card. Visit the manuf. site and type in the model# in their search bar and see if you have the correct driver installed or if there is an updated version. patio. The last error I got was Bad System Config Info. STop 0X74 (0X03, 0X02, 0X80087,0XC14C) I had to use last known good config. to get it to restart. I was just now reviewing my device manager and noticed that there is no driver for my system clock is that normal? |
