Answer» Hi all! Any help would be appreciated. Here is my issue. I have a HP NC8230 and it has taken to freezing ever SINCE an AVG update. Now it has gotten to the point where I can not EVEN get it to boot up in safe mode. It hangs on the "Windows\System32\Drivers\avgidseh.sys" I cannot get into BIOS either. Not sure what to do. I have tried starting last now CONFIGURATIONS, safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt but all the same. It hangs at the avgidseh. I have downloaded onto a flash drive a RESCUE boot disk but again I cant get into BIOS to even boot it. Thanks everyone! Great forum! You have tried both F10 and F12 during the HP splash screen to enter BIOS and the keys are ignored?You might need to ADDRESS the problem directly to AVG support site.
