Answer» ok so a friend of mine received something in the mail yesterday and we think it's something her ex hubby had ordered before he moved out and we have no idea what to do with this stuff since we can't GET a hold of him so we might as well make some use out of it...the question is though.... what are we supposed to do with an external storage device, a 160 gig hard drive and 2 fans?!?!Sell em or use em.well that's just it. if we were to use them, what can we do with them? doesn't look like we can actually make any use of the items. sorry we're just 2 women who pretty much only know how to turn on a computer and not much else Well then sell them.An external hard drive is a device for storage of files.
Its like the hard drive inside of your computer.
You need to put the 160GB hard drive into the external hard drive enclosure. Directions should be included.
These are great for backing up data, such as music or photos, in case your computer crashes or you need to reformat.
As for the fans: Not really a whole lot you can do unless you have a computer that NEEDS new fans, or more fans.
Personally, I would keep all of it, in case I needed a new FAN, and so I could back up and store my files on the external hard drive...
Still, either can be sold on a site such as: www.Craigslist.com
If you have a neighbor THATS better with computers, you could always give it away as well.
But, once again, its an important thing to back up your data, it might be worth keeping the external drive. How much do you want for them ? ?WHATEVER patio offers I'll match, and I'll also give you this piece string I just found. An irresistable deal!
(wait, there's more, go through now and you also recieve this old dried up leaf, absolutely free!
