Answer» I have Win 2000 installed on my 2 hard drives. I would like to install Win ME on my D drive. How do I do this? I would like to install Win ME on my D drive.Please pick up the sharpest object on your desk and shove it firmly into your left eye. It'll be less painful than living with ME!For best results the oldest Windows OS should be installed first. 98 and ME insist on being on the first partition of the first hard drive to WORK correctly. As I said, many people had NO problems with ME. It had a lot of shortcomings, but it was the beginning of one of the things many of you use a lot - System Restore, and if tweaked right and not abused it WORKED OK. If you want to talk a bizarre and worthless product you folks under 16 might want to research Microsoft Bob.If you can run 2000 then you should be able to run xp, ME = Mistake edition, It is a good os but had a lot of problems and could be quite unstable, Great for an I.T guy though!, You get to check and fix the faults! It didn't sell well, but I got the same reaction when I saw XP for the first time as when I saw BOB. I want Bob!! I always like to try Weird GUIs , Ive got loads of messed up 3d GUI's but there all useless! |
