Answer» How can I run fdisk or another tool to see what's wrong with the hard drive? I only have a BOOTABLE Win XP CD.
Thanks. More info please... Why do you believe something is wrong with your hard drive? What is the make and model of your hard drive? Could you POST the specifications of your computer? If your computer has a floppy drive go here...

Download a boot disk and boot to it (it will have fdisk on it) then run that utility. USUALLY if the drive is going south you will GET 'bad allocation units', which indicates the drive has bad sectors on it.
