Is there another way to uninstall programs?You could target the games installation location and delete them, but this is not the best method. Its best to launch steam and delete them the proper way, this way there are no orphan entries on your computer as a result of deleting a game improperly. Question I have is,,,, why not delete them the proper way through steam?Go to your library, right click on the game you're downloading and want to remove and select "Delete local CONTENT". That's all. You don't need to stop or restart Steam this way. Close Steam Locate your C:\Program FILES (X86)\Steam\steamapps\downloading FOLDER Delete everything under Downloading (not a specific folder just everything) Start steam - product should download anew.
