Answer» Using Outlook Email I have a group of 9 ladies which I named "Mary Circle" and I tried to send them a group announcement this morning and received mail from the System administrator listing every name I addressed , with " No transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient." So, what is a transport provider and how do I supply it? Have you tried to resend the email. Sometimes you will see that with an email server that is "hiccuping at the moment".
Are there any other details? In the transport provider message, if you dig through it, did the email addresses look correct? You should see the individual address and not the group.
I sent it again, but it was "returned" again. I looked-up the term "transport provider" .... no good. grammy.......Have you tried opening outlook and clicking on HELP ........ there seems to be a lot of INFO as to how you set up group distribution ...........Have you ever been able to use the group send ? I use outlook express when I'm sending to any of the groups I'm involved with .........it's so much easier to use and set up ...... You have created a "new distribution list " havent you ? I did find this ..... HTTP://support.microsoft.com/kb/q197417/ it may assist you in troubleshooting the problem
