Answer» I am totally NEW at this!!!! I WANT to transfer information from one computer to another, USING my USB drive. I have no idea how to get the information from the computer to the USB drive, nor do I know how to get it off the USB drive into the new compter. I would appreciate help. Thanks ShariWith the USB drive plugged in go to Windows Explorer...(not Internet Explorer) The USB drive will SHOW up as another drive. Simply drag any files into the USB folder by highlighting them with the left mouse button and DRAGGING them there. There is also a neat Windows add on called Tweak UI that adds a "send to' command to the right clik menu but we don't yet know what version of Windows you have...Thank you for your advise. I will do that. Then to get them on the other computer I just do the opposite? I have windows Explorer Home Edition.Yes it would be the same procedure...you might have to double-clik on the USB drive for it to display the files you want to transfer. patio.
