Solve : time and date issues?

Answer»

The time and date clock has been ACTING up LATELY in Windows XP home edition.  It has been speeding up considerably.  It can gain as much as 6 or more hours over the course of a day.  Then it will go back to NORMAL for a while after I reset it, before it takes off again.   Could this be some type of virus or just a low battery on the motherboard?  I am running a current updated Norton Antivirus software.  Is there something I can check for?
thanksYou MAY have to replace your CMOS battery. Does this also affect your BIOS time?
