Answer» The time and date clock has been ACTING up LATELY in Windows XP home edition. It has been speeding up considerably. It can gain as much as 6 or more hours over the course of a day. Then it will go back to NORMAL for a while after I reset it, before it takes off again. Could this be some type of virus or just a low battery on the motherboard? I am running a current updated Norton Antivirus software. Is there something I can check for? thanksYou MAY have to replace your CMOS battery. Does this also affect your BIOS time?
