In addition to protecting ourselves from all KIND of malware, there is a possibility that a hacker can infect you local server or the DNS they use. But are you SURE your local ISP did the patch? As faor me, I set my router to use the DNS recommend by Open-DNS for this location. Check out this: http://open-dns.org So, am I paranoid or what? You MIGHT be a little paranoid, but that's not always a bad thing.
