Gratitude comes in many forms, and on this forum we seem to have a number for it.

But unfortunately I seem to be unable to increment the number attached to people who have assisted me.  I'm anticipating a silly response to this odd sounding question, but maybe putting it in context helped?

How does one 'thank' somebody?Clik thanx in the lower rite corner of any Post...I actually can't see it, is it disabled for some users?I have attached a screenshot, I can't see it but maybe I'm not looking hard enough?

As patio has pointed out the part in quotations is located at the lower right corner of your post. You should see it on every post in every thread ((except one  (the post i mean) that you CREATED)) the quoted choices. So if i wanted to thank you i can chose any of your posts in any threads you participated in and click on the "thank Veltas" link and your thank count will rise by one. As the person creating the thank i will not be aware of the action except if i soon after NOTE the rise in your numerical thank value. By the way i recently had another member PM me on the very same problem. He was directed to the site administrator for possible assistance. We don't know if that person's issue was resolved. I'd increment your 'thanks' count, but...

This is obviously a slight bug with the forum, or a moderator has manually disabled this for me (for whatever reason).I just had a thought. Have you tried this usage of the CH forums on different browsers? I don;t believe in our previous dealing with this concern the aspect of a browser was mentioned. I use Opera principally but also Google Chrome and Sea Monkey and no issues with any of them.truenorthI've had the issue with IE8 on Vista, IE9 on 7, and Firefox on XP, 7 and Ubuntu.  No browsers work so far.  The exception is that near to my account creation I was able to thank people for my posts, I am no LONGER able to do this.Suggest PMing the Administrator don't think the mods can do much for you on this problem.truenorth
