Solve : Temporary Internet Files folder size? |

Answer» I need to free space on my drive. Temporary Internet Files (located at Documents & Settings/Username/LOCAL Settings, when I right click and view properties, states that it is 497MB, containing 4548 files and 9 folders. However, when I open the folder, it is empty. I already chose Delete Temp Internet Files in Internet Explorer and FIREFOX. I can view hidden files and folders (obviously otherwise I wouldn't see Local Settings). Why is temporary internet files telling my it is 497MB big when there is nothing in it? I am in an ADMIN account. It is the same under my username and default user. How do I get this 497mb back into free space?Run diskclean and DEFRAG from Start/Accessories/System Tools. |
