If you ever need help, just come here to get it! Now, this is not meant as an insult, but you need to use full text when writing emails for tech support tickets. You should learn how to start CD drives in DOS, learn about Autoexec files and how you may need to configure them, and much more.... Instead of buying books, check online for tutorials and go to your local library. Find a BOOK that you really like, and then buy it at the store for future reference.ok i just bought Computer Networks (Hardcover) by Andrew S. Tanenbaum thrid edition th reviews said it was a good beginning place, its like 4 yrs old but it only cost 5 bucks for shipping and everything. i'll go to my library today and check it out.. i know they dont have any good computer books cuz i looked but i can have some sent over from different libraries if i need toCome over for a couple of weeks. (JK) The For Dummys books are great starters, thats what I use....i have flash 8 for dummies im loaning networks for dummies from my library... i like who easy there are to read..I learned Qbasic from a Dummies book... Anyone know if Qbasic can be downloaded for free?
