Answer» Hi,
I have the ttb meter program loaded on my laptop www.thinkbroadband.com/tbbmeter3 The problem is that it loads automatically every time that I start my Windows Vista. So I went to msconfig and looked in the Startup folder but ttb meter is not in the startups. So I am wondering how this program is starting up automatically and what I can do to stop it?
THANKS,
-cinque8Isn't the whole point of the meter that you leave it running in order to monitor your usage? Have you checked in the settings of the program to see if there's an option for it to start with Windows, and have you checked the Startup folder under Start - All Programs - Startup? Also, the correct link for the software is http://www.thinkbroadband.com/tbbmeter.htmlI like the program, but when the program starts up a huge image appears on my screen and it is starting to get a little ANNOYING. And it did not ask me if I wanted it to automatically start up. The reason that I downloaded the program in the first place is because I wanted to monitor speed only when I was downloading or uploading something. But I will check the settings.
Thanks for the reply,
-cinque8Your other option would be StartupCPL ...from Mike Lin...Free.If you go to Menu > Options you can uncheck the BOX LABELED "Show Splash Screen At Startup" to turn off the annoying splash screen.Quote from: Helpmeh on July 28, 2013, 05:28:39 PM If you go to Menu > Options you can uncheck the box labeled "Show Splash Screen At Startup" to turn off the annoying splash screen.
