Answer» okay i hope someone can help me. when i go into the control panel and double click on the taskbar and start menu icon it completely closes out the control panel and TAKES me back to the desktop. also when i right click on the taskbar at the bottom of the page nothing happens. anyone know what's going on or how to get this back?go check UR settings. i think ur pc MEM is cleaning off. We can't guess what Op UR using, PROVIDE the info and we have something to go with Kimhold down the F8 key.on booting pc...and go for last good config........option..Hi, You may want to run a program called Ad-aware, you can get it from www.downloads.com and type adaware. You may also need to run a virus detector. Clear out all your cache memory, recycling bin and any old music files and other big files you have. I hope this helps. Chris
