Answer» If you're thinking of uninstalling Norton, you're better off just reformating.
FlameI agree Flame, formatting is the only way to get rid of Norton completely. It's the only way to AVOID all the ERRORS too
FlameI have three anti-virus programs, two anti-spyware programs, a firewall, a privacy service and have not had any problems.
I uninstalled Norton without dificulty.Or so you think
FlameIf you are having difficulty removing Symantec Antivirus/Norton, download the program RNAV from the www.symantec.com website to completely remove it. (Or so I would think) After that, you can go delete the files yourself if they have not been completely removed.avast! Anti-virus has a feature that will let you remove files that are in use (it requires you to eventually restart your computer on your own) so those PESKY viruses and even some adware/spyware that hide out in System Restore can be removed without a PROBLEM.
