This link above saved me from getting extremely frustrated with my WHS rebuild. During the installation process it prompts you to name your server. So I named it eMachine and it said name was already in use try again, ok lets try this one, nope, than that one, nope.... what the!!! Ok lets look online to see if others have had this same issue, and this guys article saved the day!

FIX = Unplug Network Cable, and then name the server anything you want!

Figured I'd share this here since it was buried on Google and maybe having it here will help anyone having to deal with this with a FASTER match to the issue, as WELL as anyone here who may have WHS from chasing their tail on this issue like I was about to do.

Whats crazy is that no computers on my network were ever named anything except for eMachine had been used before as this systems name. Thought somehow this installation process was able to communicate with the other Windows 7 machines to poll for computer names. But when names never used before were INVALID, already in use, I was like OMG, give me a break! WHY?... Then found out the simplest and yet STUPIDEST fix that works from 2008.How many times wee you told:
"Don't do repair on a computer with it plugged in."
