Hey everyone,


My Nanny likes to downloads things from the innernet onto my computer.

I like her to use the computer but the pop-ups are all over the place. She uses instant messaging alot and I don't know what else.

Is there some way people can use the computer but that I can prevent any downloads? I would prefer she didn't know I was implementing the "PARENTAL controls" on her.

When she used it LAST my BROWSER had been changed to another one.

It's very annoying.

Any HELP is GREATLY appreciated.

BBall i know is you could just use a guest account? (assuming you're using windows)

have your nanny just use the guest account and install only the things that your nanny uses like the instant messaging and whatever browser she likes and whatever other software she likes to use most often.

and she can still download and do everything but she can't install any software or hardware or change any settings that you personally like.

Parental Controls ---> I wouldn't know how much it would take for her to find out that parental controls is being implemented even on the guest account mode.
It sounds like your getting nasties put on that she doesnt realize, I would scan the pc if you dont already. Probably will find a few trojans or something.
