Solve : Started with a small problem now it's huge!?

Answer»

I started having a PROBLEM with the computer saying it was low on memory when in FACT it was not.  I checked the resource manager and found the computer had a lot of modified memory in use so I looked this problem up online.  One of the solutions was to go into the bios and enable memory remapping.  Mine was already enabled so I thought if I disabled it then enabled it that it might work but when I hit save and exit the screen shut off.  The computer stayed on and if I turn it off and turn it back on the computer and the fan come on but the monitor doesn't.  I know that's not the problem because the computer is hooked to the tv and it is working fine.  Did I cause this or was it already going out?  Please help I have everything on this computer.  Thank you.Try resetting your CMOS first to get your PC up and running:

How much memory do you have installed? What is the SIZE of your page file?I think its somewhere around 6000 mb for the memory not sure about the page file size thoughThanks for the link now at least its turning on!!Ok, the computer has 391gb free of 686gb (6144mb) and the page size is 5887mb.Are you looking at RAM...or hard drive space ? ?
I think you may have them confused here...Sorry there is a total of 6144 mb ram.  It says between available and cached is 5887mb but it keeps going up and down.  Also I don't have the modified memory problem in safe mode and when I reboot in regular mode it starts out normally and then the modified memory starts to increase until there is no remaining memory and the computer freezes.
