Thankyou for the links.i'm actually having some issues and instead of creating another topic, i'll post it here. i went out and bought the full editor TODAY, and it won't install on my pc. it doesn't autorun, and when i explore the disc and click on the setup, it just asks if i want to completely remove the application and all of it's components. if i click no, it goes away and does nothing. if i click yes, it also does nothing. i tried the autorun on the disk as WELL, and still nothing. i figured i didn't uninstall the trial properly, so i went into the registry and deleted the remainder (at least from what i could tell) of the spore trial version. afterward, i tried installing it again, and the same nonsense keeps happening. did i miss some registry keys somewhere? arrg i spent 10 bucks and it won't WORK!I'd assume based off your description of your problem and attempt at solution that you're running Windows XP or Vista. If that's true I'd suggest trying a registry cleaner. Preferably CCleaner:

I just installed CCleaner, but I dont really know what to do with it as I have never used a program like this before. What do I do with it? -_-"After downloaded and installed on the computer close all programs and then Open the program. There should be a desktop icon to open it or you can open it through the Start Menu. Once open, click the registry button on the left-hand side of the screen, click the Scan for Issues link, once the scan has completed click the Fix selected issues.
