Solve : Spam attack at CH? |
|
Answer» First time I saw a spam attack this bad here. Cool... Thanks for cleaning it up ... No problem. It's my unofficial duty to look after the forums. Quote from: nixie on November 16, 2011, 12:07:44 AM was wondering if the engine behind CH has ability for rules to limit quantity of posts or frequency of posts or if the only option is to stomp out the spam fires as they happen? I'm not sure of the exact settings. The CH owner and community have always had pride in keeping the forums as openly accessable as possible without using strict settings. That said. Different moderators/administrators at CH have different abilities in the forums. Some more powerful than others. P.S. He/she/it sems to have logged off. Thanks for not replying to any of the posts. Any reply to a SPAM post is a win for the spammer...KNOWN spammer. http://www.stopforumspam.com/search Search the user name grace123 Same posts as made here. Quote Report EF - Thanks - I've disabled his ability to post. Sorry I was late to the party |
