Solve : SP3? |

Answer» I am currently USING SP2 and have avoided downloading SP3 because of the problems I have read about in the forum. EVERY time I turn on my computer I am still offered SP3. Have the bugs now been sorted out? Should I download it? I saw a reference to SP4 on the internet the other day. If I download SP3 will I then be offered SP4 please - is it worth having?I have SP3 and no problems here. I have SP3 and no problems here.Same with me, I think it has WGA, but not sure.No problems with SP3 here either. I have one PC with SP3 and no problem. I have ANOTHER with it and it ruined my favorite photo editor. And I can not re install the photo program. SP3 did something to the registry That I can not fix. And an uninstall of SP3 did not work either. So, for me it was not an improvement and I can not recommend it at all. Others have had real problems. A update that does harm is of LITTLE VALUE. I can not see how it has helped me in any way. I did however have an issue of a program not working quite right with IE8 Beta installed (even though everything I had read about it said there were no bugs even though it was a beta), not bad though, it was resolved with removing it. |
