Answer» I have a SONY NETWORK WALKMAN and my computer won't let it install.
I am running XP and contacted Siny they said that my computer is stopping it.
Please Help...That is not a whole lot of information you're giving us.
First of all, I don't have the slighest clue as to what a Sony Network Walkman is since I stopped following trends after the 80's.
Second, I can only start to guess what kind of connection a Sony Network Walkman would have (USB?)
Third, I do not know what you have tried to make it work or what the STORE has suggested.
So, will you kindly fill in the gaps and be less negligent in the future ahead? Negligence is unbecoming and I think that after the 80's, people seriously became more negligent.A Sony Walkman is a MP3 player. They didn't have them in the 80's so I guess you can't help me...Are you using wmp.....to do this ....mp3......portable device.......what software are you using......sony/windows....First of all, check to SEE if the following services are enabled:
Plug and Play Portable Media Serial NUMBER Removable Storage Device
To see if these services are enabled, do the following:
1. Start 2. Run 3. Services.msc 4. Report back to tell if they are disabled, automatic or manual.Raptor
Plug & Play set on AUTOMATIC Portable Media Serial Number set on MANUAL Removable Storage Device set on MANUAL
TerryIs your computer capable of USB 2.0 or 1.1? If it is 1.1 or even 1.0, you may need an additional power supply for the Sony Network Walkman.
What exactly has Sony technical support told you?
