Answer» my computer wont turn on at all. i plug in power chords etc, push the power BUTTON and nothing. absolutely nothnig, no lights, fan movement. if i can fix it then that would be much more helpful. Nothin a computer shop can do that you can't. Apart form charging too much. Have you DONE the following: 1. Tested the PC on another outlet 2. Made SURE all cables are properly connected 3. Replaced the Power Supply Unit and tested it on another computer What has lead to your computer not wanting to boot?thats one thing i havnt tried, replacing the power supply. however there is one major problem, i dont know how to. i have an old power supply from my old computer i could use, but would this work, or would it have to be specific. Quote however there is one major problem, i dont know how to. i have an old power supply from my old computer i could use, but would this work, or would it have to be specific. It requires a certain amount of Wattages. < 350 Watts for yours. It must ALSO be of ATX form factor. Otherwise the connector will not fit. ok so under 350 watts, and ATX. ok thanks a lot im going to a computer shop now so i guess ill pick a new one up, as the old one has dissapeared. :-/My bad, I keep confusing the > and < sign. it should have been greather than 350 Watts. |
