Answer» I don't understand why my PC starts choking to the point of becoming totally unresponsive if I open too MANY tabs in my browser despite having ample RAM. If the web browser under use (Firefox, Edge, IE, Chrome) start clocking up more than 10Gb of RAM use, it is to the point where it almost freezes. This despite these browsers allegedly being 64-bit as well, just like my Win 10 Pro for Workstations. I am also running dual Xeon E5-2696 v4 CPUs and dual 1080GTX on six 1980x1080 screens. System disk (C:) is a Samsung SSD 960 Evo 1Tb with 226Gb free while personal files (D:) is on a WD Red 10Tb with 6Tb free. I am using no paging file for any of those drives. Any input would be most WELCOME Have you run memtest86 to make sure that all 128GB of RAM is happy? The RAM is ECC.Download Speccy and save it to your desktop (https://www.filehippo.com/download_speccy/) Right-click on the .zip file and select Extract All. Extract the file to your desktop. Right-click Speccy.exe (32 bit) or Speccy64.exe (64 bit) and select Run as Administrator. When the tool opens, click on File > Publish Snapshot. Click on Yes, then select Copy to Clipboard. In your next reply, please paste (Ctrl + V) the link to the Speccy snapshot.Too long to paste. Text file attached instead.Yeah, you were just supposed to post the link - that's fine. I suggest you try a diagnostic startup (msconfig - diagnostic startup) and see what happens. If everything works well, you can start adding processes back a few at a time until the problem recurs. I know it's a time consuming process, but it works. On the other HAND, if the problem remains with a diagnostic startup I'm not quite sure what to tell you. I don't see anything jumping out from the speccy (other than the large number of processes).
