Answer» i've picked up a small (84mb)hard drive &AMP; installed it as a slave to see what's on it...win3.1...in "exploring my computer", click the + at d: drive,almost all folders have a second copy displayed in the folders window.how can i get RID of the extra coppies without deleting both?ROOKIE: Sounds like the Window.how is a backup FOLDER. It may be safe to delete the files there. If you want a slave drive, i'd suggest going to a used computer store (or computer repair shop). I bet you will be ABLE to get a 4 GB hard drive for around $10.00 (USD). Of course, the 84 MB HDD may be worth something some day on the Antiques Road Show! I'm looking forward to cashing in on my Vic 20 (one of the first computers made by Apple that had only 20 KB of memory and no hard drive). Regards, Doc
