A new chair is probably less expensive than a new laptop.

Or JP-4...as far as that goes. Sorry...couldn't help myself.i used to get shocked when i would get out of some recliners Ok

I took a WHITE chair out of our library
and dragged the old shock-y ONE into the library

Problem fixedDitto GX1_Man

Alan <>< This brings back fond memories of a section of our floor (in my old house) that did something similar. The wires underneath weren't grounded properly or something, touching something metal would often produce a shock or a strange tingly feeling in the fingertips. After shampooing the carpet once, I went to plug my computer in... BZZZT!

That, in turn, reminds me of when I first got my PS2. I went to go plug it in and the outlet literally exploded!Quote from: Zylstra on April 09, 2007, 04:52:56 PM

I already answered that. A more comfortable chair than this one would be nice. (I personally want a small couch or a fouton...(ignore spelling) since it would fit well in out living area.) 2K thanks for that humidity chart, I knew it MADE a difference but not how much, I used to get zapped everytime I went to the cig machine where I worked, but went once in an extended period of cold dry winter weather and the shock I got slammed me into the wall 6 feet from the machineQuote from: GX1_Man on April 09, 2007, 06:59:58 AM

I hereby nominate this for the CH Hall of Fame...If I scrape my feet over the carpet and I touch my desk, there is a chance the PC will crash.
