Answer» you know how that when your looking for a file TYPE in xp that you can choose from file formats that the pc reconizes is there a way to add to that?Are you talking about windows explorer dude? It worked me with Vista, so I'd SAY it's the same. It came up with about 5,000 results! xp professional start - shearch then you can say what your looking for an when you click advandce features or what ever it comes up with the file TYPES if your looking for a certain one.For certain file types the wildcard is star__dot... In other words if i want to search ALL jpegs in the search bar iwould type *.jpg and hit Enter. The results will be all jpg's on the machine. Same for any extension...*.TXT would bring up ALL text files on the machine etc. etc.thats true but when shearching say a youtube file you'll probably get a whole bunch of other stuff.If you wanted to get a youtube video, just ask.Is that a yes?
