Use the file transfer function thats built into say ...... msn messenger ...... Simply ZIP or Rar the file and transfer it that way.......

Emails are TRANSMITTED in plain text by virtue of the constraints of the SMTP protocol. Binary ATTACHMENTS have to be encoded into plain text before transmission, which significantly increases the size of the file. FTP is far better SUITED to this purpose and can handle binary transfers efficiently. Furthermore, FTP is point-to-point, whereas SMTP may involve several different mail servers along the way, all of which would barf on such a huge file.

My company does not allow attachments larger than 100MB, and to be honest, that's pretty generous. Most ISPs limit it to 10MB or less.
