Solve : Selling Old Parts?

Answer»

My PC arc teacher said that there has been a recent good market for old pc parts. 486 chips an such. Wondered if there was truth to this. Some collectors might pay a bit for them, yes.
Also, as those parts are obviously getting rarer, anyone still using a machine from that era, due to financial constraints or they just like it, might also pay a bit. This is very true:

But, just remember:
Right now, the entire world is seeing some financial difficulty, and the markets for anything are slow. You might wait for things to go back up (Which, could take a YEAR or two). Still, you can sell now if you want.
I'd say your teacher is ill informed.Hey friend there is an online service that deals in PURCHASING of the products and the services [link Removed]. Here all kinds of different products and services are available. I think you will get your desired product or service here.Charleswilson, my first impression of that post is SPAM.

I believe Squall wants to sell, not buy.CARBON is right, Zylstra thats very true I just dont want to keep stuff around that I'm not going to use. I was going to wait but wanted to know since I parted out one since its like a pain an stuff. Patio the only way I see he's wrong is in the market at the time other then that. Calum I had that feeling an was hopeing it was right.I could use them.... Quote from: Carbon Dudeoxide on October 20, 2008, 05:41:23 AM
I could use them....

So could I actually.
But, I'm flat broke at the minute, so I couldn't even pay shipping, if squall theoretically wanted to sell to me.no shame in that, I like to haggle??? hagle??? You know... One I parted is a socket 5 works completely seriously, bios needs a few things set but the board works an the ram an cd drive it had no HD. Power supply had to be semi FIXED so unless you have the right switch or modify it, I have everything but the HD mite get rid of some gateway 2000 parts.
