Solve : Screen scrolls in waves?

1.	Solve : Screen scrolls in waves?
Answer» Hello, After switching from Vista to Xp, now when I USE my touch pad to scroll down, the screen scrolls in waves instead of a steady scroll.I can't figure out how to correct this, if anyone has any suggestions, I would be very appriciative. My computer is a Compaq Presario f500. Thanks From the DESKTOP click START>right-click My Computer>properties>Hardware TAB>Device Manager click on the + sign next to Display Adapters, right-click on the item in the submenu, click UPDATE and SEE if Windows will find a better driver
