When I first got my PC, my monitor kept "fluttering" in shades of pink. Tech support was about to have me return it under warranty. Then, just by accident, really, I discovered that the CABLE to the moniter was not pushed in nice and tight!! (Some "tech" support; they couldn't think of that?!) Anyway, could that be your problem, too? Good luck! What type of monitor is it. CRT or LCD. Has this always happened, or just recently? How old is the monitor.

If it's CRT, try removing sources of mangetism, which can include speakers.Hook up the monitor to another known working machine...if the same symptoms occur your monitor is about to go South.
If another monitor on your machine does the same thing then your vid card is READY to go South...
