Solve : Scanning photos?

Answer»

What is the best way to go about scanning my photos. I have many photos, I need to scan and have no idea how to go about it. For example, my mom has PASSED away, and I need to scan photographs of all her art and furniture. So I don't know what is the best program and so on. Most scanners have SOFTWARE bundled with them. What scanner are you using?Dran..... I would SUGGEST reading the scanner manual and it should walk you through the procedure. If you dont have the manual , try the manufacturers site , you should find one there ..... Do you have a digital camera .... as that might be of assistance with the furniture .

dl65 It's as if I have to take a Windows XP class or something. I just think I don't know alot of the basic operation of things. Someone told me to do the Windows XP tutorial and that it would answer many questions as it would give me some basic understanding that is vital. Do you have any suggestions? Taking a course is tough right now, but I could do on online class. What should I do?Do you have a scanner? If so, what model? If not, how MUCH do you have to invest? About $100 or so is a good starting point.I have an all in one HP2710. Is this good. I have so many photos to store, and I don't know what is the way to go about it. Does the TYPE of scanner make a difference?
