Answer» how do i RESTORE my RAM? I have 248mb of RAM and im supposed to have 256mb of RAM. If it is, there is nothing you can do about it. Sometimes it can be adjusted throught the BIOS, but there is no separate memory on graphics adapter in these cases. No videovemory=can't see the screen. and would an external harddrive solve this problem??? Memory and Hard drive space are two different things. The amount of RAM could be increased depending on what is in there and the number of available slots. The biggest hard drive in the world would not affect it an iota.That model has an integrated Intel 845GV graphics chip, so you will need to buy more RAM to increase the TOTAL.
