Have you carefully examined the case to look for removable screws or some type of latch that can be pressed down with the thumb?Soybean: I was able to remove the case by removing all four screws of the bottom of the case,plus four screws on the back of the computer around the power SUPPLY. The bottom and SIDE are all one piece and slid off toward the bottom of the computer while it was lying on its side.
