Answer» I'm not too big on security at this POINT so I have to ASK.. Earlier today I did a REMOTE desktop connection to my dad's XP Professional computer. If I simply have him uncheck the remote desktop in Windows Firewall would that be sufficient for security? Would it be BETTER to disable the port in his router again? Or both? What port was it ? ? You don't have to say but if it's a commonly abused # i would close it to be on the safe side...I had him using the default So disabling the port in the router instead in Windows Firewall would be safer?Yepper...thankser No problemer...OKAY stop(per)!Stop whater?
