Solve : remote desktop connection in Windows XP Home edition ?? |

Answer» I was ALWAYS at least fairly certain, that Windows XP home edition did not come with RDP. I happen to LOOK in "Accessories" a LITTLE while ago on the start menu and there it is "Remote Desktop Connection" I was always at least fairly certain, that Windows XP home edition did not come with RDP. I happen to look in "Accessories" a little while ago on the start menu and there it is "Remote Desktop Connection" You get an RDC client but not the server. If that's the case, I wonder why I can't get terminal services started in XP home edition. Doesn't it have to be running to accept a remote connection from server ? In any case, I never downloaded or installed it at any time that I can remember. It's wierd that it just showed up on both of my computers.. I got server and client mixed up, sorry... But ANYWAY, I just don't know how they got there, I never saw them before... |
