When you made the BIOS changes did you press F10 to save changes and Exit ? ?is there no way of deleting the home edition xp then installing the pro from the disk? I have a C0000218 registry failure? help - ive tried everything i can think of Im not computer litterate. ok, what happened - i went into start - run - and msconfig to try and stop certain programmes booting up when i turn the computer on. And yes i unchecked something i shouldnt. Now the computer will not start it just has a blue screen saying dumping physical memory - ive tried all the different options "safe mode" "start windows from last good point" etc etc - all just take me back to the dreaded blue screen. I do not have a windows xp cd - i never did get one with my computer - I NEED HELP - what can i do? - where can i get the cd? can anyone send me one? i need to get this sorted. thanks in advance |
