Answer» Knowing what happened prior to all of this may help fix the problem.
As a a first step reinstall your drivers for your video card. AS you didn't state what that was or your computer make/model we are just GUESSING after that.
Information begets information.Which operating system are you using? Have you scanned for viruses and Spyware? Are you the administrator of this computer? Did this used to work? Have you made any changes to your system recently?
[glb]Flame[/glb]Not laughing at you, just TRYING to help. go to www.lavalys.com and download Everest Home edition. Load that and tell us what info you can get about display or graphics adapter. Then we can advise.I wouldn't assume that it needs to be replaced at all yet. Just a fresh COPY of WIndows solves most problems, for a while. Has Windows ever been reloaded on this machine throughout it's years of service?Well if it were here I would have that PUPPY HUMMING along well in under 2 hours, but we can probably walk you through it IF that turns out to be what's needed.
My own take is that you can waste hours trying to find solutions that could be resolved with much less time and effort with a simple reinstallation. After 6 years of use, "why" doesn't really enter into it.
I'm sure that is still a viable machine.
We can get you there. There's lots of online experts here.
As I told another poster, I'm just in one of those moods, so if you want to pay postage both ways, I'll get it fixed for you. It's a shame it won't go in e-mail!
I really like those older machines. Easy to work on and problem solve. Too many are discarded because they're not the latest and great and don't run the new games, but they are fine for what most humans need.Printing Problem

Landscape works but wastes paper Windows MEdennisdg,
How about a proper post in a new thread in an appropriate spot and not hijacking this thread. You are more likely to get what you want and not confuse other issues.
When you post how about telling what kind of printer, how used it is, if it ever worked right, What software you're printing from, etc.
See you in another thread!
