have you modded somthing before in a really strange way? if so post here, i like hearing these "useless" mods... ill post a good one:

so, im here at my grandmas, and i need to hook up the satelite recever through the AV jacks on the TV that is in the guest bedroom i am in, but the jacks where broke off the circut board, and laying loose inside the tv, so what did i do?

the solution was this:

1.) i got a three foot phone cable (24 gauge, double headed, black)
2.) the stock AV jacks from the TV
3.) i cut the phone cord into three pieces, stripped the black covering off about 3 inches at both ends
4.) SOLDERED one cable to the tv, then to the jack it went to the cable, and repeated till all where soldered
5.) put the back back on the TV and ran the cable out through the stock AV jack hole
6.) tested it (it works GREAT) and then taped it up with red electrical tape, to make a wiring harness and to cover the soldered points

and voila, i know have working external jacks for the TV.i forgot to mention, if you want some really crazy mods, check out
