Solve : Question about creating WinXP boot CD by Ahead Nero v.7?

Answer»

Hi dear all!

wish you lots of successes in your life.

I studied an article about CREATING Windows XP bootable Disk by Nero v. 7 and there was said that "PUT the Number of loaded Sectors=4" as shown in the picture:

I wana know that why we must write the 4 number in the "Number of loaded Sectors" and why we can't write the 1, 2 or 6 numbers instead of 4 ?

I will be grateful If anyone explain this!

Thanks in Advance
It is 4 because the IMAGE size is greater than 2.88 MB

The number of loaded sectors specifies the number of 512-byte sectors to be loaded from the boot image.

1 specifies a 1.2 MB floppy disk image (512-byte boot image),
2 specifies a 1.44 MB floppy disk image (1024-byte boot image),
3 specifies a 2.88 MB floppy disk image (a 1536-byte boot image),
4 specifies a hard disk drive image (a 2048-byte boot image).Hi dear DIAS de verano!

Thanks for your answer.

can you please tell me which kinds of boot disks can we create using the above three line's boot Images?

Thanks again.
