Answer» i am useing microsoftbackup and want to store it to cd,it says this media is write protected. remove the write protectionor insert another media to continue. the disk im using is cd-r. any SUGGESTIONS? thanksHas this CD already been written on?no its NEW, do i need to format it maybe?i also have some floppys but not sure how many i need would RATHER use cd but willing to compromizeYou can only format CD-RW's.
