Answer» I have a Biostar 478 board that has a twenty four PIN CONNECTOR. I have a psu that just has twenty in the CASE, would I be able to run the board useing it?You should be able to... What other cards are attached to the board? The extra 4 pins provide an ADDITIONAL power rail to cards like PCIe and video cards. The motherboard can be powered by the 20 pin connector, as long as there are no additional cards on the board that require the 4 additional pins. The connector will be offset on the board, but you can pick up an adapter to fix this...for around $5 (USD).Its not going to be a high END pc. Maybe just an Ide extra drive card.
