Solve : Program Manager not responding error?

Answer»

Hello, any HELP with this error would be greatly appreciated. First of all, I am poor and running Windows 98 on a computer from around 2000 so forgive me.

Very recently, while using IE 6 on my DSL connection, at random and sometimes frequent intervals, I receive the following message:

Server Busy

This ACTION cannot be completed because the "Program Manager" program is not responding. CLICK the appropriate button on the task bar to activate the program and correct the problem.

I tried wading through Microsoft's self help pages for Win 98 and Program Manager (which I have no idea what is) and am coming up with nothing about this particular error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Remove ie6 from win98........scan for bugs........do have any p2p programs..../ what website displays this sever error message......Quote

But Bill GATES stated this could not be done - I believe under oath!
Check for virses and spywares.Program Manager?? Man, you sure you're not using Windows 3.1?

Which version of Win98 you using?

Can you check something:

1. Click the Start button, and then click Run.
2. Type system.ini in the Open box, and then click OK.
3. See if there's a line in there that reads either: shell=Progman.exe or shell=Explorer.exe

Which one do you see?

It was the only way I could achieve personal rebirth.

Look upon it as a computerized rénaissance.
