Answer» Hello, I use Solway´s Clean system directory to move unused dlls to a BACKUP folder. http://www.theabsolute.net/sware/#clnsys
Now I have the problem that it crashes after a time it starts scanning (it used to work). I get the ERROR I paste below. I searched and it seems could be a problem related to a 16 bit program running in windows 32 bit (I have windows 98 SE). From the program files: For use with Windows 3.1 and Windows 95.
I don´t know how to fix it.
I have in config.sys (I think these lines allow DOS programs to run): DEVICEHIGH = C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\setver.exe DEVICEHIGH = C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS DOS = HIGH,UMB etc.
error: CLNSYS caused total protection error in module CLNSYS.EXE of 0005:00000b52. Why not try using the same program you used to move these unused dll files back to where they were before you moved them.Quote from: The Saviour on September 09, 2007, 07:13:59 AM Does this program have a restore point...just in case you did something you weren't supposed to do?

Hi, I don´t think this is the problem because I recently reinstalled windows. I also reinstalled the program. And that program also caused the crash...Quote from: The Saviour on September 09, 2007, 07:44:44 AMAnd that program also caused the crash...
Only clnsys crashes.
I don´t understand what you mean, sorry.
