Answer» Dear Forum -
I am using VISTA. When I do disk clean-up there is always one file left that is impossible to delete. It just won't go. I have tried everything and I am getting worried. By now it takes up 1 MB already. The file is called mainframe.log and it is a text document. It is located under C:\Users\Evelyn\AppData\Local\Temp. What can I do? What should I do? Ignore it? Please excuse if this is a dumb question but I am a computer NOVICE, pretty much. Your help is greatly appreciated. How do I get rid of this thing? C:\Users\Evelyn\AppData\Local\Temp will either recreate itself or not COMPLETELY be deleted. The Temp files have to go somewhere....
Right click on it then choose PROPERTIES after you have ran the disk cleanup and SEE how large it is.try getting a file shredding program
