hi just updated my xp, as SOON as i did this (after it restarted) all my icons have gone big.. its like my screen has blown up.. any one got any ideas?
this HAPPENS every time i try to update, the last 2 time i did it it happen so i used system restore but i might need the updates...What is your resolution set to?

Well at least verify the bloody settings.i got xp service pack 2!! oh and if u fix my problem and ill dye my hair any colour YOU (3 letters) like!!!yes it reboots after the update on its own.. dont know about the file clean up your going on about??? im not too good at this (im blonde remember)
i dont know what setting your going on about Carrie, before I loose my patience and ignore you, tell me the following:

  • What is the resolution set to?
  • Are large icons enabled?
  • What DPI is the text set to?
i run AVG for virus and adaware got p2p morphus which is fine.. everytime this update has been OFFERED to me it has never installed RIGHT,, and the only back up i have got is my recovery disk.. oh and i dont do green.....!!! it was on large icons but IVE changed it to small but its still the same..sorry Raptor i do not mean to wind u up but i dont know what a resoultion or a DPI is??? Not reading my posts aggrevates me. You asking me what I mean does not annoy me the slighest bit.

#1 What is the resolution set to?
#2 Are large icons enabled?  
#3 What DPI is the text set to?  

1. Right click on your Desktop -> properties -> settings tab
3. Right click on your Desktop -> properties -> settings tab -> advanced -> General.

DPI default is 96.hi raptor DPI normal (96) and Recolution 800 by 600 pixels .. Quote

Are you normally using 800x600 as well?
