Answer» I have been using the above program for some time and it works great. Bought it just before they were purchased by Norton. I back up a complete image of C drive to an external Western Digital drive. I would now like to get a Western digital external drive that is raid, 1TB. While I could continue to run the backup to the old drive, I would like to write it to the raid drive. I do not plan to use the raid in the traditional back up mode, but in the raid 0 striping mode for speed. But not sure if I could do backup recover from a raid drive. ANYONE have any experience with this?Not POSITIVE on the RAID issue but i believe the version you mentioned did not support backing up to external devices. Have you done a search for Drive Image Forums or User Groups ? ? Good Luck and sorry i can't offer more help...Well, I installed the WD raid drive, configured it for raid 0 or striping mode. The Driveimage 7 backsup ok to this drive and the file tests good so I am comfortable with this. It is FASTER also. Good news...and thanx for letting US know.

It does support external because I am doing that now to an external 500MB. Just cannot find out if backing up to a raid 0 striping mode will work?You probably have the last nice version of Drive Image...
