Answer» HI, I have an HP Elitebook Folio 1040 with Windows 10. A few months ago the battery started draining quite fast until the point where it only could be used while the laptop was plugged in. So I replaced the battery, thinking it was just old. Now I am experiencing unexpected shutdowns, it just turns off at any point. Something to note is that it only happens when it is using only battery power. A friend told me it might be the MOTHERBOARD or power SUPPLY that are malfunctioning. What do you reckon is the problem? Are there any LOGS that I can check that could pinpoint the issue? |
